Finding a Wedding Venue in Gibraltar
Most of these venues have existing approval from the Registrar to hold civil marriage ceremonies and all are well accustomed to dealing with overseas couples and assisting with the planning of a destination wedding.
It is also possible to get a special license from the Registrar to hold your wedding in another location.

The Caleta Hotel
A four star hotel on a rocky promontory in the lovely Catalan Bay, the Caleta is , practically in the sea! The hotel has been recently refurbished to a very high standard.
The Caleta can cater for weddings with up to 450 guests and is very popular with Gibraltar residents as well as overseas couples.
O'Callaghan Eliott Hotel
A Situated on Governor's Parade with views over the Straits of Gibraltar, this Irish owned four star hotel has recently been upgraded and refurbished and has a very efficient in-house team to assist those planning a wedding.
There is an on site beauty salon and hairdresser and the central location of the hotel means it is convenient to pretty much everywhere on Gibraltar.
The Rock Hotel
With it's typical 1930's exterior and colonial style decor inside, the Rock is a Gibraltar institution and has always maintained a high standard through the decades.Weddings can be catered for in function rooms but also beside the pool or for smaller groups on wisteria clad terraces overlooking the sea.
The hotel is next-door to the Gibraltar Casino and well situated for access to the town and its sights.
The Queen's Hotel
The family run Queen's is Gibraltar's only budget hotel, this is a popular wedding venue for those who don't want to spend an absolute fortune but still want a well managed day in nice surroundings.
Located just outside the city walls, most rooms have good sea views and the rooms were weddings are held have a pleasant old world atmosphere. They don't really emphasise weddings on their website - but are very helpful if you contact them.
The Alameda Gardens
These beautiful tropical botanic gardens, filled with exotic trees, lush vegetation and fabulous flowers make a wonderful location for an outdoor wedding.
Weddings take place in The Dell, an Italian style garden with two fountains, a waterfall and a pond filled with lilies. The air will be scented with flowers, including Hibiscus, Bougainvillea and Jasmine. It is a truly lovely setting.

St Michael’s Cave
A dramatic natural grotto large enough to serve as a venue for concerts, this is an unusual and very dramatic location for a wedding. It has a very church-like atmosphere, with several chambers of different sizes, but the most dramatic is the soaring Cathedral Cave.
Important: The cave is not anymore licenced for civil weddings, though it is possible to apply to the Governor for special licence. However it is available for receptions.
